The degree of dysfunction in our political society, and the appalling consequences on human lives and nature, are calling citizens around the nation to realize we must stop waiting for others to ‘fix the problems’ and step into civic stewardship ourselves.

 

Seeing the two-party systems as a driver of so many of our problems, many of these rising leaders are opting out of the two traditional political channels and declaring their civic activism Independent from the old systems.

 

The upcoming Independent National Convention is a countrywide convergence of these Independent Civic Stewards working at all scales; from national leaders to community organizers, authors to entrepreneurs, candidates to seasoned activist organizations and independent political parties.

 

INC ‘23 Austin is for these leaders to form new relationships and strengthen existing ones while we increase alignment around message, strategy and roadmap so the US Independent sector can assemble into a world-changing United Independent Movement.
